2009 EC Fundraiser & Promotional Party |
| Each year Extreme Chairing founder and creator John "J2" Mryczko throws a fundraiser and promotional party in order to raise money for Extreme Chairing. This year the party was on June 20th in Morton Grove IL. The day was very hot and humid at 87 degrees, but by 8pm when the sun started going down the temperature turned perfect. Guests started arriving at 7pm ready to have a great time. Most guests where long time friends of J2's as well as some family who also came. Sirius satellite music was bumping from a professional sound system. Food was also served through out the night and filled everyone's appetite. During the night in between songs recordings of J2 on The Jason Ellis radio show were played. Jason Ellis is a radio talk show host on Sirius satellite radio. He has been a long time supporter of the Extreme Chairing organization, and J2 has been a celebrity guest on his show since summer of 2007. As the night went on more people had arrived and the atmosphere was very lively. The party went until 3:30am and everyone had a great time. In all 30 people showed up for the event, there was an expected 50 to come but unfortunately over 15 did not make it. We thank all those who came and made contributions and also thank the ones who donated but could not make it. We hope to see everyone next year and make the event even bigger |
