Whether you know what you want or just want to see what’s out there, Abilities Expo will expand your idea of accessibility. Wheelchairs, adaptive home furnishings, daily living aids, assistive technology for people with sensory disabilities, fitness gear, travel services…and that is just for starters. J2 from Extreme Chairing was at the Chicago expo which was held at the Schaumburg Convention center. Due to his AATV racing schedule he was only able to go to the show on Sunday. J2 spent all day at the expo promoting Adaptive Action & Adventure Sports, and meeting many people with all types of different disabilities. He also tried showing off his chairing skills on the wheelchair super x course, but was not able to go full throttle because he was using a general backup chair due to his stunt and racing chair being broken and waiting for replacement parts. Overall it was a great day. J2 handed out hundreds of promotional fliers, spoke to dozens of people and handed out many EC shirts.
