I enjoyed many sports before suffering a paralyzing gunshot wound at the age of 18. The following year I came across a Sports & Spokes article about disabled water skiers. The article fired me up, but the sport was so new back then, I began to develop my on version of a adapted water ski. My enthusiasm for skiing has led me to numerous national and world competitions. Selected twice to the US Disabled Water Ski Team. A established a world record jump in 1994, and another world record mark at the 1997 World Disabled Water Ski Championships.
